Although this is our first post on our new site, new URL, and new server…we’re really just keeping the 4WD and 4X4 conversation going.

Back in the mid 90′s we were BC Off Road, and in the mid 2000′s we became 4WDTraveller and 4WD4X4Reviews (both of which now live here).

Today, we’re Island 4WD Life (dot com), an online off road four wheel drive adventure journal dedicated to exploring and discovering Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

So while this is our first post here, it’s really another in a long line of 4×4 articles, travel stories, reports, tec tips, and vehicle reviews that we hope you’ll continue to enjoy.

We’ll be adding a lot of new content in the coming days and weeks, much of it with a focus on exploring Vancouver Island by four wheel drive vehicle, and enjoying much of what this island has to offer. So please stay tuned and check back!
